Jerry Kings gives us great insight for playing golf in the wind. The two main points he tries to explain is balance and control. To achieve more balance you must lower your golf stance and get low when you swing. By doing this you will hit your golf ball lower. For every 10mph of wind he suggest raising your club size by 1. This is the control aspect of his tip. Obviously playing against the wind your going to need a longer drive for the same amount of distance. So remember your correct club size for easier ball control and remember to widen and lower your stance to get that ball low so it won’t get caught into the powerful winds higher up and you should have no problems playing windy courses when the time comes.
